Having
received a certified copy of the Order of the Supreme Judicial Court of the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts dated December l7, 1998, indefinitely suspending
the above-named Albert Ira Gould from the practice of law in the Commonwealth
of Massachusetts, and having ordered, pursuant to M. Bar R. 7.3(h)(3)(1), that
Albert Ira Gould shall, within 30 days from the service of this Order, inform
this Court of any claim that the imposition of identical discipline upon him in
this State would be unwarranted and the reasons therefore, and Gould having
failed to ever answer, respond or otherwise reply to the Board of Overseers of
the Bar's Petition for Reciprocal Discipline after having been personally
served with a copy of it on September 16, 2003, this Court herby ORDERS:
1. The
Board of Overseers of the Bar's Petition for Reciprocal Discipline is hereby
granted in all respects;
2. Effective immediately and pursuant to M. Bar R. 7.3(h)(3), Albert Ira Gould is indefinitely suspended from the practice of law in Maine until further order of this Court; and
3. Albert
Ira Gould shall comply with his reporting and notification requirements of M.
Bar R. 7.3(i) within 30 days of the date of this Order.
