WITHDRAWAL OF ADMINISTRATIVE ORDERS JB-05-6 & JB-06-1 (PDF)

Administrative Order JB-05-6, Guidelines For Determination Of Financial Eligibility and Reimbursement of Assigned Counsel, and Administrative Order JB 06-1, Family Division Magistrate Pilot Project are withdrawn and no longer in effect.

The determination of indigency and the assignment and compensation of counsel shall be governed by the provisions of Rule 88 of the Maine Rules of Civil Procedure, incorporating by reference Maine Rules of Criminal Procedure 44, 44A, 44B, and 44C. Assigned counsel shall receive compensation for services performed and expenses incurred as assigned counsel pursuant to rates and standards established by the Maine Commission on Indigent Legal Services pursuant to 4 M.R.S. § 1804 (2), (3).

The JB-06-1 governing the Family Division Magistrate Pilot Project has been superseded by Maine Rules of Civil Procedure 110-118.
